Mario H. Santos is the founder and president of The Santos Law Firm, PLLC, which he established in Houston in 2017. A first-generation lawyer and native Spanish speaker, Mario built the firm around a commitment to rigorous preparation, strategic defense, and accessible representation for Houston’s English- and Spanish-speaking communities alike. Mario earned his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston in December 2016. His path to the bar was shaped by discipline and persistence rather than pedigree, and that same work ethic defines how he approaches every case — methodical investigation, close attention to the evidence the prosecution intends to rely on, and a willingness to challenge the case at every stage. Since founding the firm, Mario has built a practice focused on DWI and criminal defense alongside personal injury representation. He has led the firm’s growth from a solo practice into a team of attorneys and staff who share his standards for preparation and client care, and he remains directly involved in the firm’s most complex matters. Mario is licensed to practice throughout Texas and is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
